Ironworks Distillery ferments and distils its rum in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, inside an 1893 blacksmith shop. Founders Pierre Guevremont and Lynne MacKay started the project in 2008. Lamb's is only partly Canadian. Wikipedia says Alfred Lamb blended rums from Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica and Trinidad in 1849, and that Corby bottles the brand in Canada. Wikipedia says Seagram started the brand in 1944 and Diageo bought it in 2001. The same article lists the origin as the United States Virgin Islands. A 2010 fight between Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands was about moving production there.
