This one is coloured on purpose. The colour comes from caramel, not from extra years alone.
Cormorant is twice distilled in a pot still, then aged at least one year in 200 litre ex-bourbon barrels. Batch 3003 and 3004 is a 50:50 mix of 2 year old rum and 4 year old rum. A 750 mL bottle is 40% alcohol and $38 at the distillery.
The distillery is on King George Highway in Miramichi. Spirits other than the vodka are made there from Crosby's Fancy Molasses.
