Every drop is distilled in Ahus. Absolut Vodka is 40 percent alcohol, from Swedish winter wheat and well water drawn as deep as 176 metres. The bottle reached New York in 1979.
Canada does not make this vodka. Production stays in one village in southern Sweden. On 23 July 2008, Pernod Ricard of France finished buying Vin and Sprit for about 5.63 billion euros. The SAQ lists a 750 ml bottle at $32.
The product page describes grain, then a hint of dried fruit. A gold medal at the 2024 Vodka Masters was the second year in a row. Corby promotes the brand in Quebec. It does not distill it.
