Everist The Shampoo Concentrate

Most bottled shampoo is over 70 percent water. Everist sells a 100 ml cream instead, in a recycled aluminum tube. One inch of paste, rubbed with water, lathers on any hair type. Glycerin is more than 30 percent of the formula, and aloe vera is more than 15 percent.
Jessica Stevenson and Jayme Jenkins launched Everist Inc. in Toronto in 2021, and they make this concentrate there. Orange, peppermint, rosemary, bergamot and clary sage oils scent the paste. The brand does not name the countries those plants come from.
Herbal citrus is the scent. Colour-safe paste skips sulfates, silicones and synthetic fragrance. Wet the hair first, then let a metal key roll the tube down. Short first wash helps if other products have built up.
Everist's site calls the formula 3 times concentrated. Bluebird Climate measured 77 percent less carbon than shampoo in a plastic bottle.
